About This Community
Mansfield Council has an approximate area of 3,800 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Ancona, Boorolite, Delatite, Goughs Bay, Howes Creek, Howqua, Howqua Hills, Howqua Inlet, Macs Cove, Maindample, Mountain Bay, Piries, Sawmill Settlement and Woodfield plus parts of Barjarg, Enochs Point, Kanumbra, Lima South, Matlock, Merton and Mirimbah.
It is comprised of the localities of Barwite, Bonnie Doon, Gaffneys Creek, Jamieson, Kevington, Knockwood, Lake Eildon, Mansfield and Merrijig plus parts of Bridge Creek, Creek Junction, Howitt Plains, Mount Buller, Reynard, Tolmie and Woods Point.
It is surrounded by the councils of Baw Baw Shire, Benalla Rural City, Mount Buller Alpine Resort, Mount Stirling Alpine Resort, Murrindindi Shire, Strathbogie Shire, Wangaratta Rural City, Wellington Shire and Yarra Ranges Shire.
It is within the state electorate of Eildon.
It is within the federal electorate of Indi.
