Gayamaygal
Phonetic Cam-mer-ray-gal, Gamaraigal, Kameraigal, CameragalDescription The Cammeraygal, variously spelled as Cam-mer-ray-gal, Gamaraigal, Kameraigal, Cameragal and several other variations, were one clan of the 29 Darug tribes who were united by a common language, strong ties of kinship and survived as skilled hunter–fisher–gatherers in family groups or clans that inhabited the Lower North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. -
Garigal
Phonetic GarigalDescription We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians, the Gayamaygal and Garigal and their Country on which we gather today. By these words we show our respect to all Aboriginal people. We acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging and the spirits and ancestors of the Clans that lived in this area.
